Dr. Lisa White
VETERINARIAN
Dr. Lisa received her veterinary degree from the University of Queensland, Australia, in 2003. She returned home to Canada in 2007 and has been an owner of Cobble Hill Animal Hospital since 2009. Lisa is grateful to live and work in this wonderful community. She enjoys building trust in her relationships with owners and strives to provide the best veterinary care to her patients with a focus on practical, evidence-based medicine.
Outside of work, Dr. White enjoys trail running with her dog, Stella, and reading and watching Netflix with her cat, Lenny. She also loves skiing, hiking and adventuring outdoors with her three kids.
Dr. Ian Keery
VETERINARIAN
Dr. Ian is the proud co-owner of the Cobble Hill Animal Hospital since 2014 and has been caring for pets and their families since graduating from WCVM veterinary school in 2013. With over a decade of experience, Dr. Keery is known for his thoughtful approach, clinical expertise, and genuine dedication to his patients. He values strong relationships with both pets and their people, and it shows in the trust he’s built within the community.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Keery is a devoted husband and father of two. His family also includes a sweet cat named Asher and a lively dog named Maxine. He’s an active member of his church and deeply values faith, family, and connection.
Dr. Rob Reiner
VETERINARIAN
Dr. Rob graduated from veterinary school in 1987 and went on to open Cobble Hill Animal Hospital in 1989. Over the years, he has earned a reputation for his compassionate care, dedication, and deep connection with both pets and their people. Now semi-retired, Dr. Reiner continues to be involved in the practice he built from the ground up, offering his expertise and mentorship.
When he’s not at the clinic, you’ll likely find him traveling with his wife or out on a walk with their golden retriever, who’s been known to charm just about everyone he meets.
Kristin
PRACTICE MANAGER
Kristin has been a cornerstone of our clinic since 1993, bringing decades of experience, leadership, and compassion to her role as Practice Manager. Outside of the clinic, Kristin lives on a hobby farm where she breeds Shetland Sheepdogs (Shelties) and dedicates much of her time to the world of dog training and canine sports.
With over 40 years of experience in dog training, Kristin has developed a strong focus on behavioral training. For the past 25+ years, she has been deeply involved in all-breed herding—as a competitor, judge, and teacher. Her passion for the sport has taken her around the world, where she shares her expertise and enthusiasm with others in the dog training community.
Dallas
VETERINARY ASSISTANT/PRACTICE MANAGER
Dallas joined our team in 2014 and has been an integral part ever since. With a deep-rooted passion for animal care and well-being, she brings both professional training and real-life experience to her role. She lives on a hobby farm where she tends to a mix of horses, sheep, dogs, and cats.
Her professional journey includes completing a two-year certification course in Equine Sport Therapy, where she gained extensive knowledge in equine anatomy, rehabilitation techniques, and hands-on therapy practices. Dallas also attended the respected Farrier Program at Kwantlen College, adding valuable skills in hoof care and horse handling to her toolkit.
Amie
HEAD REGISTERED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN (RVT)
Amie joined the clinic in 2007 and has grown into her role as Head RVT through years of dedication, skill, and compassion. A graduate of the Douglas College AHT Program in 2010, Amie brings a wealth of knowledge and a calm, confident presence to our team.
In 2025, she expanded her career by stepping into education, beginning a new adventure as an instructor at Vancouver Island University. Her passion for veterinary medicine now extends to mentoring the next generation of VAs.
Outside of work, Amie loves being active in nature, spending time with her family and friends, giving back to her community, and relaxing with her affectionate dog, Pru.
Claire
VETERINARY ASSISTANT
Claire has been part of the clinic team since 2017, bringing warmth, dedication, and a lifelong love for animals to her role. With a special passion for horses, Claire lives on a farm where she enjoys the company of her horse, two dogs, and a cat.
An active and outdoors-loving person, Claire thrives in nature and finds balance between her professional life and her personal passions. Family is at the heart of everything she does—she’s a proud mother of two and shares her life with her supportive husband and children.
Claire’s compassion, energy, and strong work ethic make her an invaluable member of our team.
Hannah
VETERINARY ASSISTANT
Hannah joined our team in 2022. Born and raised on Vancouver Island, she has a deep love for nature and the outdoors—and it shows in everything she does.
Her background in equestrian vaulting sparked a lifelong connection with animals, and she now shares her home with two sweet cats, Xerxes and Floki, who love to keep her company. When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll likely find her out hiking a new trail, relaxing at the beach, or planning her next road trip. She also enjoys pet photography, card games, and quality time with friends and family.
Megan
VETERINARY ASSISTANT
Megan joined our team in 2023, bringing with her a lifelong love for animals and a strong passion for fostering and rescuing. Her experience caring for animals in need naturally led her to pursue a career in a veterinary clinic, where she’s proud to be part of a compassionate and dedicated team.
She lives on a small hobby farm with her pitbull, Charlie, chihuahua mix, Thunder, two cats, and a flock of chickens. Outside of work, Megan enjoys hiking and mountain biking with her husband and two children, and spending time on the property working on a variety of hands-on projects.
Mary
RECEPTIONIST
Mary became part of our team in 2025 and has quickly become a warm and welcoming presence. Originally from the United States, she now happily calls beautiful Canada home. She lives with her wonderful husband and their two adorable fur babies, Spooky and Luna.
Mary has always had a deep passion for animals, which makes her work in veterinary care especially meaningful. She’s also a natural people person who loves connecting with clients and finding small ways to brighten their day—whether it’s through a warm smile, a kind word, or simply being a thoughtful listener.
When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll likely find Mary curled up with a good book and a cup of coffee, enjoying the quieter side of life with her pets by her side.
Ricki
RECEPTIONIST
Ricki joined us in 2025 and brings a vibrant energy to the face of our clinic. Known for her charisma, kindness, and outgoing personality, Ricki is a true people person who brightens everyone's day.
Outside of work, she enjoys hiking and exploring the outdoors with her husband and two beloved dogs, Texas and Dallas. Whether she's hitting the trails or greeting guests with a smile, Ricki brings heart and energy to everything she does.
